'For Lindström, the anatomical subject of the painting is to flesh what the landscape is to earth, to the odour emanating from the earth and which, in the memory, makes it present. Body-landscape, flesh-earth, the painting action is banished and it is using the body that he seeks out that invisible, inexpressible flesh, using the landscape of that body that he cries out, in order to be as close as possible to that landscape.
