With curved single-edged fullered blade etched on each side with gilt martial trophies and foliage against a deep blued ground, steel stirrup hilt with langets (knuckle-guard with working repair), faceted collar and pommel, and original rayskin-covered wire-bound grip, in original steel scabbard with two rings for suspension
