A FAMILY GROUP OF TRADITIONAL SIKH EDGED WEAPONS

Comprising a chakram (quoit) with three groups of marks each formed of four small discs linked by arms, an Akali warrior's turban ornament formed as a khanda double-edged sword with an adi chand (half crescent moon) and chakram beneath, stamped with three groups of similar discs to the chakram visible on the outer face, a kirpan (dagger belt) embroidered with flowering foliage and the religous invocation 'Sat / Sri / Akaal' (God's name is the ultimate truth), and a pesh-kabz dagger with characteristic curved blade of wootz steel, silver-gilt guard and tang, and ivory grips
The chakram 6 3/4in. (17cm.) diam, the pesh-kabz with 7 1/8in. (18cm.) blade
