With octagonal sighted barrel engraved with double border lines and a band of foliage at the muzzle, border-engraved top strap signed 'DEANE & SON, NO. 30. KING WILLIAM ST.T. LONDON BRIDGE', border and scroll engraved frame with blued safety stop, plain cylinder numbered 14353R, chequered walnut butt, border and scroll engraved trigger-guard and butt-cap, the latter retaining some original faded case-hardened finish, and retaining much original blued finish throughout, London proof marks, in later lined and fitted case with brass double-cavity bullet mould and pistol flask
