A ROMAN COLOUR-BAND MOSAIC GLASS BOTTLE AND A ROMAN COLOUR-BAND MOSAIC GLASS BOTTLE FRAGMENT
CIRCA FIRST HALF OF 1ST CENTURY A.D.
With piriform body, flat base, cylindrical neck and folded rim, assembled from fused canes of pale blue, dark blue, green and purple glass; and a Roman colour-band mosaic glass fragment, assembled from fused canes of white and yellow glass
3 7/8 in. (7.4 cm.) and 2 ¼ in. (5.5 cm.) high respectively
