Painted in blue with two oval medallions one inscribed VIVAT above a double entwined MC monogram, the other with three loaves of bread, enclosed by a scroll-edged cartouche above an angel mask support and below a crown, flanked by figures emblematic of India and America amongst foliate sprays, the foot with a lappet border
10 ½ in. (26.7 cm.) high overall
