A SPINACH-GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC RHYTON
18TH/ 19TH CENTURY
It is carved with two clambering chilong on an incised geometric ground. The base is formed as a monster's head carved with bulging eyes and open mouth that supports the cup. Its upturned tail forms the handle. The stone is of a spinach-green tone with some dark and pale inclusions.
