A LADY'S MANCHU-STYLE INFORMAL ROBE AND A COURT SKIRT
19TH/20TH CENTURY
The robe is worked with peony and chrysanthemum roundels on a pale jade silk ground embroidered with scattered prunus blossom and flower heads, with deep horseshoe cuffs and elbow bands with dragons. The skirt is embroidered with phoenix above mountains and couched gilt dragons above waves.
