Comprising a Nilgiri cane walking stick, stamped 'SWAINE & ADENEY', the handle carved as a fox's head with glass eyes, designed by August Czilinsky, the other a gnarled wood stick with a silver handle, stamped 'BRIGG' , with CC hallmark for Charles Cooke

Lot Essay

Charles Cooke was the chief stick mounter for Thomas Brigg and Sons from 1888 until his death in 1914.
