The funnel bowl with Matt und Blankschnitt crowned coat-of-arms of the von Haxthausen family the other side with a recumbent maiden and Cupid below the inscription J'attend l'heur du berger ('I wait for the hour of love'), the lower part, foot and stem with a band of stiff leaves, the cover with lappet-shaped panels

The von Haxthausens are a Westphalian noble family and the initials A.A.V.H on the underside of the foot may perhaps refer to Anna von Haxthausen (d. 1728).
