Christ appearing to Saint George after slaying the dragon

The present composition is a bozzetto for Conca's altarpiece in the Church of Sant'Agostino e Giorgio, Siena. Numerous small changes are evident from the original, including to the hand of Christ and to the drapery of the putto supporting the Cross.
