Folio (490 x 345 mm). An original pastel and watercolour drawing as title-page; 12 etchings of various sizes each signed in pencil, each tipped into cream window mounts; extra-illustrated with an additional erotic etching. 20th-century blue morocco by Wermeille, spine with raised bands, two compartments lettered in gilt (spine and edges lightly and evenly faded). Provenance: Gerard Nordmann (book label; his sale, Christie’s Paris, 27 April 2006, lot 137).

FIRST EDITION. The Nordmann copy of this excellent series of expressionistic erotic prints inspired by psychoanalysis. The group is introduced by an original watercolour as title, and each print is signed by the artist; this copy extra-illustrated with an additional erotic plate. RARE: AE and ABPC record only one other complete copy at auction; to which Artnet adds the Leonhardt copy.
