TWO BRONZE BRUSH RESTS, A SHISOU-TYPE TRAY, AND A SHISOU-TYPE MINIATURE VASE, HU
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The first is a brush rest in the shape of a chilong. The second is brush rest shaped as a five-peaked mountain cast on the side with a monkey on a flower-spray. The third is a shisou-type tray inlaid in silver wire with a flower-head. The fourth is a shisou-type miniature vase inlaid in silver wire with geometrical designs.
The tray 3¾ in. (9.4 cm.) diam.
