The following lots come from one of the most impressive private collections of Burgundy that we have seen at Christie's. This is the cellar, first and foremost of an enthusiast and drinker of fine wine. A Collection complied through years of research and visits to Burgundy. The storage conditions in the cellar are ideal with high humidity and a constant cool temperature. All wines were shipped directly from their respective Domaines at the time of purchase and have been stored since in the clients perfect cellar.
Having visited this client on a number of occasions we have been fortunate enough to have sampled many of the wines in-situ over dinner. What has struck us is the uniform quality of each wine tasted. This is testament to the superb storage and excellent provenance.
