The rectangular top with a gilt-tooled green leather writing surface and three mahogany-lined frieze drawers to each side, the corner blocks with 'buhl' inlay, on standard end supports with scrolled brackets and joined by a turned stretcher, and with lion paw feet, with a handwritten label '29008 / LD', later knob handles
