Shaped circular and on four claw and ball feet, with shell and rocaille foliage border, engraved with a lozenge-of-arms within mermaid, scrolling foliage and brickwork cartouche, marked underneath

The arms are those of Gregory with Williams in pretence for Susanna Gregory (1671-1755), daughter of William Williams of Rempstone, co. Nottingham and Denton, co. Lincoln, and widow of George Gregory (1669-1746).
