A distinguished artist, Emile Wauters assembled a remarkable collection of Old Master Drawings. A large part of his best drawings are commented and reproduced in Frederic Lees The Art of the Great Masters published in 1913. His collection was sold on 15-16 June 1926 at Frederick Muller & Co in Amsterdam.
