In 1999, the Museum of Modern Art singled out Bernard of Hollywood's Marilyn In White image as the photographic "Symbol of the Century" in their "Fame After Photography" Exhibition. The International Centre of Photography selected the image for the documentary "20 Unforgettable Photographs of The Century".
