Lot Essay

Edward VII was crowned King of the United Kingdom, the British Dominions and Emperor of India in 1901. His coronation was celebrated all over the world; probably the most famous of processions was the Delhi Durbar or the Imperial Durbar which lasted from 29th December 1902 until 10 January 1903.
