II, very light even browning, occasional thumb-soiling.) Contemporary limp vellum with ties, panelled on sides with a gilt arabesque centrepiece, flat spines, ruled and decorated in gilt, gilt and gauffered edges decorated in black with a foliate design dated 1561 (covers slightly creased and a little soiled, lacking 4 ties, vellum with small split at front joint of vol. I).
