QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The censer and cover are carved in the form of a spherical lotus bud, with the pod acting as the finial, surrounded by four loose ring handles. The petals to the body of the censer are each carved with one of the Eight Buddhist Emblems, Bajixiang. The petals to the cover are carved with lotus bloom motifs. The stone is of a rich spinach-green tone with some dark speckled inclusions.
