CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG-JIAQING (1736-1820)
Each vase is decorated to the exterior of the bulbous lower section with a bird in flight above a large floral bloom growing from a leafy stem, surrounded by buds. The smaller top sections are decorated with lotus scrolls below a band of ruyi heads encircling the mouth. The side of each vase is applied with two curved handles decorated with floral sprays and a gilt ruyi-form join to the top.
