A PAIR OF GEORGE III CAST SILVER FOUR LEAF CLOVER WINE LABELS
MARK OF BENJAMIN SMITH, LONDON, 1807
The textured leaves centred by labels incised MADEIRA and SHERRY, top leaf with ball finial to which is attached the chain, both inscribed to back No.1 (one lacks chain); also a George III cast silver wine label, maker's mark obscured by piercing, London, 1801, formed as two putti, one holding jug and wicker flask, the other squeezing grapes into a goblet, mask, scrolls and fruiting vines below title scroll pierced CHAMPAGNE, back engraved "M"
