A BLUE AND WHITE SOFT-PASTE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1840-1900
The bottle, with crackled glaze, is decorated with a scene of a man weighing fish accompanied by four boys and an older gentleman giving directions, accompanied by short inscriptions referring to the various figures, the base with an apocryphal Ming-dynasty Jiajing mark.
2 ½ in. (6.3 cm.) high, glass stopper
