A SICILIAN POTTERY FIGURAL ASKOS
ATTRIBUTED TO THE RANDAZZO GROUP, CIRCA 450-410 B.C.
In the form of a dolphin, decorated with a trail of seven ivy leaves on either side of the body, with small dotted eyes and double brow lines above, an oblique spout just above the tail and round mouth emerging from the centre of his back, two fins pierced for suspension, two flippers on the underside
