A MARBLE-INSET HUANGHUALI SQUARE TABLE

The bluish-grey and white marble top is set into the square frame with molded edge above a narrow waist. The whole is raised on beaded legs of square section joined by beaded humpback stretchers and carved at the corners with a foliate decorative motif in imitation of shaped huangtong mounts, and carved on the hoof feet with a leaf. The waist and the legs are reinforced with huangtong mounts at the corners.
