Lot Essay

An eclectic example of retro-futuristic design from the 1970s, the present watch is offered in close new-old-stock, unused condition. Bucherer is one of the most respected and "conservative" companies in the watchmaking industry. It is equally surprising and curious to find that name on a creation whose design that can unquestionably be defined as unusual, even for an era as eclectic as the 1970s.
