The group is carved in the form of an immortal standing in front of a small grotto beneath pine trees and bats. The amber is of a rich warm reddish-orange tone and sits on a stained and carved ivory stand.
The amber, 3 ¼ in. (8.3 cm.) high
Provenance
From the collection of a distinguished private European collector, acquired in London in the 1960s.
