A RARE SPOTTED BLACK-GLAZED BOWL
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
The bowl is of deep rounded form supported by a short ring foot. The interior is covered with a black glaze thinning to a brown tone at the mouth rim and scattered with white spots. The exterior is similarly decorated stopping above the unglazed foot.
5 in. (12.7 cm.) diam.
