A YAOZHOU CONICAL BOWL
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The deep bowl has gently flaring sides rising from a short ring foot. The interior is carved with a continuous floral design amongst scrolling tendrils and the exterior with a simple ribbed band. It is covered with an olive-green glaze.
7 7/8 in. (20.1 cm.) diam.
