The first painted with a tree in a fenced garden, within a shaped rim, the second with a peacock feather motif issuing from a gadrooned vase, within a yellow edged rim
The first 13¾ in. (35.1 cm.) wide; the second 14 in. (35.7 cm.) diam.
Provenance
The first with a dealer, Bruges, acquired on 7 July 1978.
The second, The Collection of the Late A. Vromen JR. sold; Christie's Laren, The Netherlands, 24 October 1979, lot 2924.
