With very heavy 52 ¼ in. (132.5 cm.) slightly tapering round sighted barrel engraved with a spray of thistles, St. Andrew and the Cross, and a boar’s head, scroll engraved back-action lock and mounts, well figured walnut butt, substantial iron ramrod with brass tip, and iron peg-mount, weight 118 lbs., with modern steel stand
