With octagonal 34 1/8 in. (86.5 cm.) smooth-bored sighted barrel, plain lock of characteristic form, fruitwood full stock profusely inlaid with white staghorn lines and foliate scrolls surrounding engraved panels depicting various animals including hounds, deer, birds of prey and a unicorn, interspersed with mother of pearl ball-flowers and smaller engraved engraved panels including one depicting a bird of prey eating a rabbit, sliding patchbox-cover, iron trigger-guard, and later iron ramrod
