A PAIR OF HUANGHUALI CORNER-LEG TALL STANDS
18TH CENTURY
Each has a thick, thumb-grooved frame above a plain waist, with aprons and legs carved in similar thumb-grooved fashion framing spandrels and struts carved in openwork as small scrolls and ruyi heads, all set into a base stretcher of conforming shape.
34 ½ in. (87.6 cm.) high, 19 in. (48.3 cm.) square
