A CARVED TIXI LACQUER BRUSH AND COVER
MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY
Both the brush and the cover are carved through the alternating black and red layers with elongated scroll pattern, that on the brush arranged in three registers between narrow raised bands, and both the brush and cover have a small conical tip at the end.
