A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN-INSET ZITAN INCENSE STANDS
LATE QING DYNASTY
Each is inset with a blue and white porcelain plaque painted with a pair of dragons chasing a flaming pearl within the square zitan frame. The top is supported on a tall waist above a canted shoulder carved with a lappet border. The box-like frame is fitted with carved spandrels and further raised on four cabriole legs joined by humpback base stretchers and terminating in floriform feet.
