PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE GERMAN COLLECTOR (LOTS 1421-1422)The original owner moved to Berlin in 1961, and had close ties with the Chinese embassy in Berlin. The two paintings were purchased in China in the 1950’s and early 1960’s and thence by descent.
