Lot Essay

The present Rolex clock was possibly used by retailer in a Spanish-speaking country for timing purposes. Often, these highly-accurate clocks were provided by brands for customers in watch stores to be able to use to set their watches and had phrases such as “The Hour to the Second” or “La Hora al Segundo”, such as on the present example.
