Lot Essay

The present watch is a rarity but made even more exceptional as it is offered with its very charming circular Cartier fitted presentation box. The epitome of understated elegance, this bracelet watch is chic as well as functional. The dial is visible, but not obtrusive to the attractive thick gold bracelet. Circa 1940, it represents mid-century style, which in fact is now the fashion of 2016 onwards.
