First published in English in 1569, most of the text is from David Brossard's L'art et manière de semer et de faire Pépinières de sauvageaux (Paris, 1552). Three copies in Britain, four in the U.S., according to ESTC.

Polished calf, covers gilt-ruled and centering the crest of Christie Miller, spine gilt, all edges gilt, by C. Lewis.
