A MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID FOUR-FOLD TABLE SCREEN
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The screen comprises of four mother-of-pearl inlaid panels mounted on hinged hongmu frames forming a continuous scene of figures in a riverscape. The reverse of each panel is inlaid with a poetic inscription followed by a seal, Dianchen.
