Lot Essay

During the 1960s and 1970s Heuer produced a number of their iconic models with dials featuring the logos of companies associated with motorsport including: MG cars, Indianapolis Speedway, Shelby Cobra and perhaps most surprisingly Volvo. Champion is to this day a producer of spark plugs who sponsored a number of events throughout the 1970s, including those of the International Motor Sports Association, meaning their insignia is instantly recognisable to automotive enthusiasts
