A complete run of the Antarctic newsletter from Little America. August Horowitz, founder of the American Polar Society, recorded radio transmissions from Admiral Byrd’s base on the Antarctic continent using a dictaphone in his Long Island office, where his secretary typed them up to be mimeographed and sent to subscribers. This volume comprises 18 issues of the Byrd section and 13 issues of Ellsworth section; it is numbered 78 of an unspecified limited run, likely under 200 copies. Renard 744.
