Lot Essay

This endangered species strap is shown for display purposes only and is not for sale. The watch will be supplied with a calf leather strap.

Sold with its Certificate of Origin and accessories, the present reference 6000G is offered directly from its original owner.
Released in 2005, the reference was at the time of its launch the only Patek Philippe ever made with such a date display and eccentric subsidiary seconds register. With a design inspired from the reference 5000, the model was provided with a date hand with crescent-shaped tip indicating the date with a scale to the outer perimeter of the dial. Initially made with a black dial, the reference featured from 2007 the present attractive charcoal coloured dial, providing an attractive and dynamic look.
