Engraved double-page map, coloured by a contemporary hand (with some recent retouching of colour and repairs), extending from the Isle of Wight in the west to Dover in the east, German text to verso, German letterpress caption at head, the English towns denominated, coastal profiles running across the head of the map corresponding with the view projection, German and Latin title and scale within ornamental strapwork cartouche, decorated with a compass rose, 2 sea-monsters and a ship, numbered '22' in bottom left-hand corner, 327 x 509mm (plate mark excluding letterpress caption), 392 x 515mm (sheet).
