Lot Essay

The present watchmaking tools are preserved in good, fully functional overall condition.

The hairspring vibrating tool is made to determine the correct length of a newly made hairspring. The hairspring to be produced is clamped on the movable pliers and brought into constant vibration with the original hairspring of the tool. By moving the clamping pliers, the vibration of the new spring can be adapted to the built-in hairspring.

The Rounding Up machine is used for reducing out-of-round gears, changing the tooth form and depth of teeth. It is mounted on a wooden box with two front drawers containing accessories. Furthermore, the machine can be turned on its main axe without moving the wooden base
