Lot Essay

This extremely attractive triple calendar moon phase watch is preserved in excellent condition with original certificate and box.

The gilt movement impresses with a finely hand-engraved scroll and foliage decoration. The very substantial gold case weighs a total of approximately 290 grams.

Dating from the late 1970s and made in a limited edition of 250 examples only it recaptures the beauty of earlier pocket watches for the modern era.
