A CELADON JADE CARVING OF A BIRD
NEOLITHIC PERIOD, CIRCA 3500 BC
The stone is carved as a stylised bird with folded wings, and a rounded body resting on a flat base. The stone is of a sage-green colour with areas of pale russet and some brown veining.
2 7/8 in. (7.2 cm.) long, box
