Provenance
Violet Bathurst, Lady Apsley (1895-1966), born Violet Mildred Emily Meeking, 29 April 1895 in Marylebone, London, was the daughter of Captain Bertram Meeking of the 10th Hussars and his wife, Violet Charlotte (née Fletcher).
This seal was presumably the gift of her father, possibly to Lady Apsley or her mother and by descent.
