THE MEAT-DISH LONDON, 1732, MAKER'S MARK ILLEGIBLE; THE SAUCEBOATS WITH MARK OF WILLIAM SKEEN, LONDON, 1758
The gadrooned shaped oblong meat-dish engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked underneath, with scratch weight 67:7; the fluted sauceboats on three shell pad feet, later engraved with a crest, marked underneath, with scratch weights 29:18 and 30:8
the meat-dish 17 ¾ in. (45 cm.) long; the sauceboats 8 in. (24.4 cm.) long
90 oz. (2,800 gr.)
The arms on the meat-dish are those of Vane impaling another, for an Earl of Darlington.
